does not count  Jan 31, 2008 In direct contrast to the hefeweiss by this brewer - which I dont rate highly - this beer was much better. The dark colour hinted at the rich flavour to come, and the complex of fruit and maltiness made for a very pleasant beer, and a fine example of the dunkel style.

Jan 26, 2008 Pours an amber color with a HUGE head. The taste is the typical wheat sweetness tempered by some nice malt flavors.
A nice solid dunkelweizen. Not the best, but not the worst either.

Jan 26, 2008 Poured from bottle. Very dark and cloudy brown with mild carbonation and a thick head. Can smell the abundance of wheat and the deeply roasted malts. Great sweet and tasty maltiness with a smooth finish. A bit soapy because of the long-lasting head. Probably the first dark wheat beer I’ve enjoyed!

Jan 24, 2008 Bottle. Poured a cloudy marron color. Aroma is malty with some notes of some fruit. Taste is smooth with a nice crisp sweet finish.
