Commercial Description:
Bottle conditioned.
Ingredients: Water; wheat malt; barley malt; roasted malt; hops; yeast.
A wheat beer from the good old days.
Erdinger Weissbier ’dark’ is a rich and smooth wheat beer specialty from Erdinger Weissbräu. It owes its full-bodied flavor to the fine hops and dark malt used in its production.
The dark beer specialty is brewed according to an age-old recipe. Its spicy flavor also results from the increased proportion (about 13%) of original wort. Nonetheless, at 5.6%, it doesn’t contain much more alcohol than Erdinger Weissbier ’with fine yeast’.

Not too strong a taste makes it a bit easier to drink, good head and not as gassy as other wiessbiers.

Bottle, 50 cl. Pours a lovely cloudy dark brown color, with a huge beige fluffy head. Aroma is a disappointment, very weak with some faint roasted malt notes, spices and dried fruits. Medium bodied, good carbonation. Dry finish.

Bottle. Looks beautiful - dark brown with a nice medium beige head. Aroma is a bit light and is fruity, malty and a bit yeasty. Flavor is malty and a bit fruity with some banana notes. A bit of toastiness in the finish. Medium-bodied with lots of carbonation.

Tap. Large foamy white beige head. Dark body. Not much in the way of aroma. Wheaty, Caramel, slightly floral. Tastes the same, slight wheat, a bit floral. Overall not bad.

Bottle. Big fluffy lasting khaki-colored head. Aroma is vanilla, wheat, sugary, roasted malt. Flavor is wheaty and doughy, some roasted flavors as well, but overall a bit thin of a body. Also some good carbonation and some lightly floral hoppy bitterness. Good stuff.

Unclear brown with a white lasting head. Roasted malts -nutty/caramel & a high to lively carbonation. Sweetness from malts. Wheat, yeasty & slight metallic! OK dunkel!

What a surprise, I didnt give much thought to my selection whilst buying this, I will certainly buy it again, has a nice head, spicy aroma and a nice bite to the taste, a long aftertaste reminisant of malt and pepper, very nice

Bottle. Ruby red black beer with strong head. The aroma is lightly yeasty and the flavour is lightly yeasty, malty and dry. Overall an average yeasty beer.
