Aroma was a mix of yeast malts and sweet malts mixed with a slight hop presence. Flavor was mildly sweet with a good mix of doughy malts and some bittering hops. Really smooth yet heavy on the palate. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA

In the aroma, marshmallows, roses, burned malt. Very special taste - almost like a bock. Light-bodied, the alcohol can be felt through this one. Long, soothing finish. eaglefan538 (2363), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

However, this one didn’t disappoint and may be my favorite dunkel weizen. Poured a flat dark brown color with a huge head that provided the best possible lacing. Aroma had bananas and light spicing detectable. The flavor followed, but was slightly roasted and caramel-like (much less so than other dunkel weizens, and certainly not as "dry"). This had a sweetness that exceed that of other dunkels I’ve had. Mouthfeel was moderate and this one was pretty drinkable for a weizen. Somewhat dry finish.
