dornoy (678), Lyngby, Denmark May 6, 2006 Thick beige head on a very dark body. Had it with strong, pungent food and it fit perfectly. Otherwise, nothing exceptional apart from the usual caramel, a bit sweet. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England May 2, 2006 Bottle from Asda, weizen glass.. I’m pretty sure I’ve had this before but never got round to rating it. Pours a murky brown. Bland aroma, a bit of toffee and not much else. Flavour is mostly sweet with a bit of sweet malt, caramel and ends up tasting rather watery and muddled. Pretty boring. gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway May 1, 2006 Bottle. Zinister (1198), Houston, Texas, USA Apr 23, 2006 Bottle. Dark and hazy with smal off-white head. Good fruit flavor with a bit of nut and malt on the back end. I was hoping for a bit more, but was still very nice. hughie (3016), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Apr 20, 2006 Dark brown with a large off-white head. Yeasty and leathery malt aroma. A bit of sweet, dark chocolate in the taste; also a curious but not unpleasant seaside saltiness. A medium bitter close. Quite liked this.
