awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA Jan 14, 2006 Nice creamy, hazy, dark brown color with a beautiful head. Unfortunatly, the aroma and flavors aren’t nearly as impressive as the way it looks in the glass. Some dark chocolate and light banana with a hint of spice is struggling to poke through. Nice and drinkable, but not one to specifically seek out. Had on tap in Frankfurt. Nekronos (2243), Xalapa, Mexico Jan 8, 2006 I do not like to rate a Weizen like this, but this was very flavorless, maybe I ate soemthing before that interfiered with the degustation. BUt could be better. Perkeo (318), Portland, Oregon, USA Jan 1, 2006 Definitely dunkel with tan foam, Dark but not burnt caramel flavor, slight sourness, dark cocoa of course, moderat traces of cola and soap. Supremely adequate dunkel weissbier. Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Dec 28, 2005 Dark brown dunkel, hazed with quickly collapsing light brown head. Light spices in aroma, very faint. Light watery malt with light bananas, very boring dunkel, bought as a gift pack, LCBO. CiroFerrara (85), USA Dec 28, 2005 Fantastic appearance and a great taste. Perfect dunkel and probably the best kind of dark wheat beers that you will ever find on the market. thewolf (5623), Kolding, Denmark Dec 23, 2005 Good round taste that stays with a long aftertaste. Sweet and soft as most wheat beers, but with a harder edge og roasted and chocolate barley. stouby (1931), Holbaek, Denmark Dec 21, 2005 Bottle, at home (030729).
Dark brown with a nice brown, large head. Aroma moderate malty, light hoppy (chocolate, licorice, roasted/burnt). Flavor moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter. Light to medium body, smooth. Panzerfaust (393), Santiago, Chile Dec 20, 2005 Beautiful black bier with a fast-dissapearing light grey head. Aroma is malty, grainy with mild hoppy notes. Flavor is soft as the Hefe-Weizen. Lightly sweet, almost no bitter. A bit like a Sweet Stout but much softer. Lively carbonation. Medium bodied. A generic wheat bear, just pretty.
