The head is medium large, dark white and creamy with a normal duration. The body is brown. The taste is malty and light bitter with a normal duration. A lot of carbonation, the body is light and fizzy. Soonah (931), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

Pours a nice brown with ruby highlights and a solid off-white head. The aroma was wheat, banana and some citrus fruits. The flavor had a nice wheaty start that transitioned into citrus with a mild hoppy finish. I didn’t pull that much in the way of the porter stylings from this beer, just tasted like a hefe-weizen to me. Nejhleader (929), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 19, 2003 Not much of an aroma - some malts and maybe coffee notes. Pours a very dark brown, head and lacing are very nice. The mouthfeel is somewhat watery. Stout-like coffee notes. Interesting but not much complexity. Still an enjoyable beer. rocbyter (917), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2008 Dark musty malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with a small off white head. Tangy malt start that finishes with not a lot of flavor. Tanginess comes back late in the finish. Mildish palate. ravidesai (915), Bombay, India

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2005 Pours deep brown with some reddy hues. Head is medium sized big bubbly foam lasting to create a little lacing. Nose is lightly toasted with yeast, wheat and a whiff of cocoa. Flavour is dull and the mouthfeel isn’t ample enough. Toasty, some peat and chocolate. Hops are lazy. Far better than the regular hefe-weiss, but nothing to either sneer or exhalt.
