Nov 5, 2005 500ml brown bottle. Poured deep choclate brown, very dense creamy tan head. Malty aroma, chocolate malts and faint fruits. Light body, smoothly carbonated with a bit of a wheaty dry finish.

Apr 23, 2006 Bottle. Dark and hazy with smal off-white head. Good fruit flavor with a bit of nut and malt on the back end. I was hoping for a bit more, but was still very nice.

Sep 15, 2009 Bottle from Inn Beer shop, Lord St. Southport. For me it did what it says in the description. Dark malt was more apparent in the taste than wheat but the spicy flavour, combined with the wheat taste was very acceptable.

Dec 7, 2008 Pours a deep brown colour, with a reasonably thick brown head. Nose is lots of dark fruits. Plenty of raisins, and just a hint of dark chocolate. Flavour is fruity, but not like a fruit beer, just fruity. There is also a lot of spicyness which I would assume to be wheat. Also a hint of banana and maybe some cloves, although, I may just be imagining that part because I think it should be there possibly. Mouthfeel is not too bad, there is some body to it, and the carbonation is not too strong. Reasonably light drinking for a dark beer too. Not bad,

Oct 10, 2008 (Bottle). Hazy dark brown with a medium white head. Aroma of banana, malt, and some hints of grains and cherry. Malty flavour with some yeast, and also sweet. Medium body and well balanced. Very refreshing.

Oct 24, 2008 This stuff is really pleasant; I could see this as a good all-night beer. Not very hoppy or bitter at all. Just smooth maltiness, cocoa, and cream all slightly roasted, though not as full as a porter. Overall not world class, but very good.

Jul 20, 2009 Dark red-brown pour with a very frothy light tan head. Aroma of wheat. A little sweet, nice wheat flavor. Lacing on the glass. A little roasted flavor in the background.
