mgoy (282), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA Jun 11, 2008 On tap at the Village Pourhouse in New York. Erdinger Weissbier (Hefe-Weizen) is an unclear orange yellow color with a very small head. The aroma is light and fresh with citrus undertones. The taste is dominated with lemon notes and the finish is dry with a nice little bite. This hefeweizen is missing the traditional banana and clove characteristics I expected.
Rciesla (897), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Oct 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow body with 3 finger head. Yeasty spiciness, then lots of wheat, a bit of light citrus fruit but nothing in particular that stands out, maybe some stale banana as well.
