badbeer (409), Iowa, USA Aug 12, 2008 Amber colored with a white head that retains well and leaves good lacing. Aroma is floral with peaches and light citrus as well as some biscuit. Taste is of peaches, apricots, oranges, and just a hint of pine sap. Medium carbonation and a touch less than medium body. Really refreshing and drinkable beer, the average score surprises me. I’d enjoy drinking more of this. matt7215 (563), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Jul 30, 2008 12 oz bottle from a trade with Linus_Stick. pours orangish brown with an everlasting off white head. hoppy aromas with caramel malts. flavours are similar. this reminds me of almost all the other american IPAs ive had but it wasnt over the top. body was just a touch thin. i dont understand the low rating on this one unless i got the best batch ever made. id happily purchase this brew if it were availible in ontario. thx linus! illinismitty (1419), Nashville, Tennessee, USA May 2, 2008 Bottle at Cooper’s in Scranton, PA. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of toffee and piney hops. Initial flavor of caramel and toffee that transitions to a grapefruity bitterness mid palate. Finishes semi dry and grassy. Not bad. I am shocked that this is rated that low. FROTHINGSLOSH (1485), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 6, 2008 Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured an orange-amber color with a medium sized orange-white head. The aroma was sweetish fruity and spicy hops. The flavor was dryish, tangy and had a strong floral, fruity, piney and resiny hop presence. The beer sweetened somewhat towards the finish and the finish was long with floral and citric hops. The mouthfeel was moderately thick. The overall hop profile was rather harsh. The hops really lingered forever. Interesting but something did not quite work for me. jjpm74 (2938), Connecticut, USA Sep 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of beachbum25. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells earthy with a peppery hint. Tastes peppery with some light citrussy hints.
