argo0 (6003), Washington DC, USA May 4, 2008 (12oz bottle) Crystal clear light amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, some straw, caramel, light grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, pine, grassy, some caramel, somewhat astringent. Light-medium body with a little bit of alcohol sneaking through. Not "miserable" by any means, but certainly subpar.
Pailhead (2295), Allen Park, Michigan, USA Jun 28, 2008 Bottle: Aroma is a mixture of oranges, hay, caramel, light fruit, and the slightest hint of grapefruit hops. The aromas do not mesh too well. It pours a transparent amber wtih a moderate creamy orange-tinged white head that leaves behind some nice webbing for lacing. The flavor starts with caramel and orange flavors with a very mild grapefruit hopped finish. There are more hops in the aftertaste than the actual flavor. Light-medium bodied with soft carbonation and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Not bad, but a pretty ordinary IPA. doubleipa (206), Georgia, USA Jun 26, 2008 Had this at the Harrisburg brewfest. Quite a yellow color, not much off-white head. Aroma was mostly pine resin, not much citrus. Very long finish. Was very dry and crisp mouthfeel. Overall a decent IPA, but not outstanding. heemer77 (3536), North Liberty, Iowa, USA Jun 26, 2008 Bottle from Bello Vino in Ann Arbor. The body is medium copper with a yellowish khaki head. The aroma has some light dough and almonds. Behind that, you get a little bit of earth and grapefruit. The taste has mostly toasted almonds with a strong herbal note in the finish. You only get a brush of citrus as you are drinking this one. Decent, but closer to an amber ale. Beerded_one (1549), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 24, 2008 Draft. Pours a light copper/amber color with a small white head. Aroma of piney&citrus hops with notes of light grapefruit. Flavor is light caramel, piney, floral and a touch of some fruit with a bitter hop finish swoopjones (1018), Buffalo, New York, USA Jun 19, 2008 Bottle. Not a bad IPA. One of the better Erie beers Ive had. Copper colored IPA with decent hop aroma. Taste is mildly hopped with some malty sweetness. Not bad but much better available
