Aug 6, 2008 [1374-20080518] Tap. Very faint grain aroma, not much there. Clear, dark red brown body with a quick creamy light tan head. Boozy ripe fruit grain flavour has undertones of malt throughout. Medium-full body. Average.

Jul 4, 2008 POured a clear red color with an off white head. Aroma is some caramel, peat,and alcohol. Flavor is pretty sweet and unbalanced and does not hide the alcohol very well.

May 11, 2008 Pours a transparent copper amber with a thin, spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet caramely malt with a touch of grainy notes, earthy hops, and some alcohol. Body starts with decent fullness and earthy toasty notes with a touch of peat and some warming peppery alcohol toward the finish. A pretty decent Scotch ale, but could hide the alcohol a little better.
