Commercial Description:
Brewed in the tradition of lagers first made in Pilsn, Bohemia, in 1842 our highly drinkable version isn't just gold and dear like the original. Czech Saaz and Classic American Cluster hops produce a delicate aroma and dry finish, along with a malty balance essential to the style. Follow the light and enjoy Presque Isle year round. You've found "the premium lager".

From a bottle poured a golden color with a fair amount of head. Decent grassy malty flavor with a lingering finish.

Very yeasty, sweet, but I notice some hops. The character of the hops is true to this style and I like the hops very much, although they have a somewhat metallic character that I could do without, and I’d prefer a stronger overall hop presence. The malt is pleasantly grassy. The bottom line though is that this beer is too sweet and the sweetness prevents me from enjoying this one. Pilsners are supposed to be crisp and refreshing; this one is too heavy because the sweetness bogs it down.

Grass, honey, corn nose. Pale, bubbly, decent looking. Malty palate with corn, somewhat malty and grainy. Where are the hops? This ain’t no pils!

12 oz. bottle. Pours a watery gold color with virtually no head. Aromas of skunk, grass, and malts. Analogous flavors. Does have a creamy mouth feel and finishes fairly easily.

Pours a light golden color with small head. Aroma - well nothing I could distinguish. I agree it did not taste like a microbrew. It was a somewhat watery pilsner. Not bad - I’d drink again but not sure that I would buy.

Very light flavor and somewhat flat (very little carbonation). Almost doesn’t even taste like a microbrew. I poured it from a bottle into a frosted glass and there was no head and almost no lacing.
