sfontain (496), Columbus, Ohio, USA Feb 8, 2007 12 oz bottle from an 11 oz pilsner glass. Straw color; big, white, rocky head initially; diminishes into a medium-sized white ring; tiny bit of lacing. Typical pilsner: lightly hoppy and bready aroma. Flavor light bready malt; extremely low bitterness. Medium-thin body. Okay for the style.
cathcacr (504), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 13, 2008 For a label I’ve never heard before, this way exceeded my expectations, and is a fine example of a very well-balanced Pilsener. I pick up some distinct hop variety and/or unusually strong malt presence which adds sweetness. Quite fun to drink, and one of the best Pilseners I’ve had the pleasure to drink. Again, I don’t know what the deal is with the 2.6 site average.
blipp (578), Grand Island, New York, USA Jul 9, 2008 Pours gold with a white head. Sweet malt aroma with fruity and herbal notes. Medium body. Bland flavor with a bit of sweet malt and trace hops. Floral notes. Not bad. FROTHINGSLOSH (1446), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 24, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy pale golden color with a medium sized soapy white head. The aroma was sour, tangy and had a crisp floral hop note. The flavor was dry with crisp floral hops a light touch of maltiness and a slightly tangy finish. swoopjones (1036), Buffalo, New York, USA Jun 19, 2008 Sample @ Village Beer Merchants Erie Tasting. Pours a very light yellow. Saaz aroma & flavor but not enough. Pretty light in body. Not enough flavor here to warrant much troopie (439), USA Jun 14, 2008 Bottle. Poured pale gold with think white head. Much lacing Faint grass and malt aroma. Very little flavour, a little malt, not much hop, a lot of water. Almost no finish. This is too weak in alcohol, flavour and aroma to be a pilsener.
