Poured a deep, rich amber with a minimal and shorly-lived white head. The scent was incredibly faint, I picked up hints of caramel and malt and little else. The taste was similar to the scent, but a little more pronounced. A lot of caramel and malt and alcohol with a nice hoppy finish. decent mouth-feel, nothing to write home about; a little dry towards the end but nice up front. Certainly a drinkable ale. Serving type: bottle

Pours amber with modest head. Aroma is sweet caramel, and resinous hops. Flavor is much the same- again lots of earthy hops and caramel malt. Slightly astringent in the finish. Palate is medium.

Brewed in the USA !! Pours a dark amber color with a dissipating off white head. The aroma is of malts, caramel and biscuits. The taste is kind of the same and the 6.8% might sneak up on you. Not bad !! might try again.

Bottle. Pours amber/red with an off white head. Aroma is not very appetizing. First flavor impression is very plain, with a sweet malt flavor. Very little hops, thin carbonation.

Bottle. Not a very interesting brew. Aroma is not the most pleasent. The initial flavor is a bit boring then followed by the slight sweetness you would expect. The flavor of the alcohol comes out in the aftertaste. Aside from being on the potent side there is not really anything here you haven’t had before. Not worth broadening horizons for.
