Commercial Description:

Draught. Creamy low off-white head. Hazy dark brown body. Mild malty caramel aroma. Mild malty blackberry caramel flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short aftertaste.

Draught at EsBF09. Medicinal aroma, some christmas spice, like cough medicin. Has an underlying citric note which balances off the spice a bit, but also continues further, making the beer unpolished.

It’s dark, red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, berries and light spice. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel, raisin, berries and dry citrus. It’s uncomplicated to drink, and the dry, refreshing finish is a nice touch in the overall impression.

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque dark brown with an orange hue and an off-white head. Roasted coffeeish aroma. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, roasted malts and perhaps some orange peel. 221009

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 23-10-09. Pours a muddy mid/dark brown in colour with a rather sorry and pitiful looking foamy head. Aroma is strange I can’t pinpoint what it is. There is some spicy toffee, fruit and a little sourness to this with a little coffee also. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0
