Dark brown pour, small tan head. Roast malt, coffee in mild aroma. Taste of roasted coffee beans over a thin mouthfeel. An interesting style for sure, I don’t care for the thinness of it, but this turned out ok. HogTownHarry (4025), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada

Poured a deep, dark, clear ruby with a large but short-lived light brown head. Aroma - hops, grain, dark roast malt, some slightly obnoxious yeast, and cedar chips. Flavour was quite grainy (Canadian beer, duh), some hops, wet mulch and some roast malt to make it palatable. Average mouthfeel, a little overroasted even for me, a bit harsh and could stand up for itself better (weakish body). jerc (3950), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Black ruby tinged body, creamy beige head is fleeting. Dry roast in the aroma is acidic more than coffee. Flavour is dry, like sweetened cold cofffee. watery. Echoes of chocolate are embarrassed as they are prodded into making an appearance. Thinnish palate. Dry chalky finish. Meh. pintbypint (1013), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
