Like to say more, but this is just palate cleanser before I head back to the Real ale Tent. daknole (3032), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 16, 2008 Deep golden pour, smallish white head. aroma of malt, grain and dare I say manure? Flavor is better than I thought it would be. Still pretty bland...but that is the American way with pilseners! Grainy and malty with very little bitterness. Refreshing enough. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 18, 2008 Golden amber with a nice light orange head. Moderate visible carbonation. Faint aroma is sweet malt and honey. Flavor offers some malted and unmalted barley along with honey. Light floral effects along with some earthiness. Unexciting, but not bad at all for the style. Quite drinkable. Beerlando (2353), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Pours a clear, medium-golden color with a quickly fleeting white head. Virtually no lacing is left on the glass. The aroma shows cereal grains, faded floral hops, a touch of honey, and not much else. Flavors, too, are lacking substance, but are not offensive in the least. Wheat and barley are sweetened with honey, while lightly peppery, floral hops lend a balancing character. The body is substantial for a Pils, but I’m afraid that’s coming more from sugar than anything else as it gets a bit sticky for the style. Overall, not that bad, but not that great either. Its just kind of boring. doubelknv3 (568), Illinois, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Mild grain aroma. Pale golden with thin head; clear. Grainy (cereal), dull flavour. Watery, with mild bitter finish. MartiniFiend (104), Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours darker gold with a good sized white head.light hop aroma and carmel. Light to the palate. This beer has a nice pils flavor. Too many pils taste like a lager. This beer i would buy again. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | May 29, 2008 Pretty dissapointing taste overall. There wasn’t anything even remotely decent about it. The body was light and golden, and the head came out nice, but everything else was crap. Taste was like a poop. GeneralGao (3079), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 26, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color. The head was white with decent retention. A bit of lace was left behind on the glass. The aroma wasn’t displeasing with hints of cereal grain, caramel, and some noble hop. Sweet on the tongue with distinct flower blossom and subdued honey flavors. There was also a fresh cereal grain note. Much better than the brewery’s other beer, Esser’s "Best", but still nothing to write home about.
