Primarily citric aroma, notes of grapefruit and lemon, with lighter toasty, honeyish malts and pine. Cloudy dark golden color, head is nonexistent. Mildly citric, piney flavor, some faint toasty caramel sweetness for balance, finishing with a mild degree of bitterness. Palate is low in carbonation, thin and very lightly oily, body is medium. Average, really. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2009 draft at the brewpub - Pours hazy copper with a small, lingering white head that leave some lacing. The aroma is led by grapefruit accented hops. The flavor is sweet malt and moderate hops with a touch of citrus. It’s a little lighter than I’d like but has some good, crisp hops in the finish. Now I wish I had taken better notes. -Light caramel amber color. Sweet with a little hoppy bitterness. Definitely drinkable. - That’s all I wrote. I remember I liked it enough that we were going to pick up a growler though.
