Orange-tan color, certainly closer to an Amber ( as the bottle accurately describes it) than a Golden Ale. Soapy, patchy head. Relatively straightforward smooth caramel malt tones with a touch of amber underneath. Has some similarities to a Cream Ale at times with its creamy orange-vanilla aroma and flavor. Not much hop presence, which works well in this case. Not exactly world-class, but certainly smooth session Ale. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 3, 2009 draft at the brewpub - Somewhere I was reading at the time, must have been the menu description, said this was an "amber". Odd. That’s certainly not what I’d call it. It pours fairly clear gold and has a very mild grainy malt aroma. It’s a sweet, light bodied brew that’s too watery and while drinkable, lacking in flavor. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 2, 2009 12oz bottle. Poured a deep gold with not much of a head. Smells a little sweet, but overall the smell is very mild. Taste starts slightly sweet and finishes with a crisp and mild hop finish. Overall, very light on the flavor.

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 7, 2009 Bottle from brewpub. Pours an average thin corn yellow and a lively carbonated body. Aroma is plastic corn. Flaovr is sour plant water with bits of plastic corn sprinkled in for bad measure. Mouthfeel is slightly tingly but thin. Amber? More like a weak pilsner. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 17, 2009 What the hell? This beer was terrible. An Amber? You gotta be kidding me. Reminds me of an amber brewed at this brewpub in Green Bay. And I’m pretty sure they use extract. Lifeless, and nothing amber about it- not even the colour. Stale and watered down. I was really dissapointed. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Very light in color, malt aroma. This is pretty simple but good. A balance of hops and malts, very smooth. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Hazy amber with and extra large lacy head that sticks around for awhile. Aroma of grain, wheat and light sweet malt. Taste of lemon, wheat, caramel. Over carbonated, chewy, astringent, watery, perfumey, with a semi-spicy finish. Eh, no. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Slightly hazy medium orange with a small, fleeting off-white head.
Fresh pleasant fruity malt aroma.
Slightly sweet but no real strong flavor players here.
Thin and watery, but an inoffensive, easy drinking beer.
