| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Poured from a bottle. Poured a light amber color with a thin white head. Raspberry accompanies a malty aroma. Sweet malt entry leads into an artificial raspberry taste that isn’t too pleasant. Lingering finish of artificial raspberries. Thin and watery, and overall just not very impressive, which sucks, because I like to support local breweries. Beaver (600), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 20, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with no head at all.
The aroma is sweet raspberries and honey with a little wheat and malt.
The flavor is some plasticy skunky malts with raspberry flavor and a chemical bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium and watery with no carbonation.
Overall, this was much better on tap at the brewery. There it was very fruity and one-dimensional but decent. In the bottle, it’s pretty nasty. I did get this bottle from the brewery just last week. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA

Lots of raspberry in the aroma, along with sweet malts. Taste is very similar, with a good creamy body and surprisingly full mouthfeel. A pleasant surprise! Smell: Let’s test this aroma out. Raspberries, check! Wheat, check!
Taste: Raspberry flavor with a light, mild wheatiness. Though mild, it’s still hoppier and more bitter than I’d have expected from a raspberry wheat. Gah! There’s an odd, plasticy quality to the finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation. Watery mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Tackling a climb up to the summit of the real Longs Peak would be far, far easier than finishing this beer. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

The aroma is raspberry extract and perfume. This beer tastes like raspberry perfume with a tinge of slightly sour yeasty wheat in the finish. The soapy aftertaste is even more unappealing than the main flavor! This beer is fairly light.
12 fl. oz. bottle from hopdog via trade (bonus). Thanks again Steve! Rating #36 for this beer... kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 26, 2007 Bottle, pours a hazy yellow-brown body with little head. Aroma is expectedly raspberries and wheat. Light, watery body that is unfortunately weak. Taste is mainly a wheat beer with overtones of raspberry. Raspberry flavor is not as strong as the aroma suggested. Finishes clean though.
