Commercial Description:
This is a fruit beer which uses a raspberry extract added after conditioning. The beer is unfiltered and should be a little cloudy. This is traditional for wheat beers. The malted wheat itself makes up 20% of the total grain.

Color is golden with light carbonation and a very thin head. Aroma of fresh raspberry and a little grain. Taste is light and fruity. Starting with a light body it goes down easy. Finish comes on with the flavor of raspberry and a hint of grass followed by just a touch of bitterness. After taste is clean leaving a faint sweet berry taste behind. This is a very good fruit brew, its refreshing with bright fruit flavors.

12oz bottle. Big raspberry aroma hits you on the first whiff. Hazy orange-tan, with a respectable head. The taste is pretty straightforward red-raspberry, extract style. The wheat adds a hint of complexity, but this one is a little one-dimensional, with the sweet raspberry taste dominating. Not really bad for the style, just lacks some subtleties. OK.

Golden color......hazy. White, pillowy head. Very strong raspberry aroma. Slightly sweet taste of raspberry in the front. Mouthfeel has a mild crispness......finishes with a subtle malt back and a slight raspberry aftertaste.

(Bottle) Pours a hazy dark yellow color with a small white head. Lots of raspberry in the aroma, along with sweet malts. Taste is very similar, with a good creamy body and surprisingly full mouthfeel. A pleasant surprise!

Hazy yellow pour with a ring of white cream and wisps of white. Aroma is sweet raspberry but not overwhelming. Flavor is lightly wheaty and mildly raspberry. Hints of the honey that appeared in the Honey Wheat. Pretty standard fruit wheat.

This has some nice raspberry in the nose. Not too much wheat in the flavor, this is pretty light and smooth. Pleasantly surprised by it’s drinkability.

[Colorado Road Trip – 2006] A nice easy to drink summer type fruit beer. Has lots of fruit flavor and a light bite at the end. This was nice but only when cold.

(bottle). Golden color with light cloudiness. Medium white head, which is mostly diminishing. Tart raspberry aroma. Unnatural raspberry flavor. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Spare lacing.
