Commercial Description:
Our pale ale is considered an American Style Pale Ale. This means it has medium to high bitterness and medium body. The bitterness comes from Northern Brewer hops and we also use cascade hops for flavor and aroma.

A nice light hop aroma. Hazy in color, little head. Pretty light, with some hops in the finish. Very unaggressive but pretty well made.

Thanks Crazy. Hazy yellow pour with wisps of white. Aroma is mild and sweet. Flavor is sweet with just a touch of hop bite. Medium body. Pretty average (but quality) APA.

[Colorado Road Trip – 2006] A nice light golden colored brew. This had some great flavors and was easy to drink. Odd it was a seasonal at the time I drank it other than they had some left from the summer season. I did like the beer and would drink another for lunch.

Bottle poured a hazy golden amber with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, hint of butterscotch and honey. Palate was medium bodied. Flavors of carmel, light citrus, honey and a hint of apple with a lingering bitter finish.

Bottle purchased at the brewery. Pours cloudy copper to bronze with a rocky white film. Gingerbread caramel malt and yeast aroma with cinnamon notes and a faint floral, fruit hop nose. Malt and yeast (dough) watery butterscotch flavor with fruity notes. Medium bodied and watery-oily and spicy palate.

Draught. Body is hazy dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin), lightly yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Very straightforward, simple, average APA, nothing wrong with it, easy-drinkin’. Patterned after SNPA for the most part.

I was going to skip this one, but the bartender told me that it would be hoppier than their IPA - Yup, he was right! Big citrus/grapefruit aroma. Body is light copper with good head and lacing. Malts are sweet and seem to add to the big juicy hop explosion. Finish is long and full of grapefruit and orange rind. Very good

Good bitterness. Nice color and head. All in all its a little above average but it needs more guts in the taste.
