Nice grapefruit nose and strong citric hop presence. Well balanced with a caramel sweetness. My only complaint is a watery mouthfeel, otherwise nice beer. This has been a favorite of mine for 5 - 6 years. Wish I could get some in Maine, but I will next October. Aubrey (2782), Denver, Colorado, USA

Mighty fine-looking beer. Upon the first sip, sweet hop flavors burst out. Pure olfactory candy. Nice amount of bitterness in the finish – balanced. Floral, earthy, & piney... with a dry and puckering finish. Gentle fruit flavors merge with the hops perfectly! Malt is well complemented also. Good beer! dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

This is not a hoppy IPA - about equal with a SoCal Pale ale. The hops are more at the end of this. That said, this is still pretty easy drinking. Good, not great. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 25, 2006 Poured from a 12 oz. bottle to a dark amber color that almost looked brown at first. Had a lingering off-white head and very good lacing thru the entire glass. Although this did not have the usual IPA appearance, the aroma was floral and grapefruit/citrus. Flavor was more citrus, and the finish was smooth, slightly bitter, and very hoppy. I had this IPA while sitting in a hot-tub after a day of rafting down the Royal Gorge. A most enjoyable beer. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Awesome aroma with fruity pebbles and fresh floral notes. Taste is so fruity and awesome with hints of pepper and blueberry as well as dankalicious herb notes.
