Sep 7, 2007 Had this one bottled thanks to Slothgar! Greyish yellow, bubbly pour with a filmy white head, nose of sweet malts, candy apples. Apple juice permeates this one. Unusual but pretty good.

Aug 8, 2009 12oz bottle. Thick dirty orange-tan color. Big fluffy white head. Tart lemon-citrus aroma with some toasty malt in the background. Tart and tangy stuff. This is a pretty underrated beer. Nice creamy medium-bodied mouthfeel. Pretty balanced, with some up front bitterness that leads into the fruity malt finish. Tangy stuff, lots of character.

Jun 6, 2004 Updated: May 10, 2005Huge head, but poured to a opaque color; not what I was expecting - it looked more like a wheat beer. Very carbonated, but surprisingly, I really liked the taste. Slightly hoppy finish. I usually don’t like this kind of beer to much, but I was surprised. The reviews seem really polarized, too.
EDIT: Trying for the second time, and I may have gotten a bad bottle. There is almsot no carbonation in it. Tastes good, but has a funny mouthfeel.

Jun 27, 2002 Dark straw color with a slight chill haze. Bright white head diminishes rather quickly. Slight floral hops aroma. Very slight oxidized flavor, but still quite drinkable. Powdery floral hops flavor dominate with undertones of mild sweet malt. Finishes very clean with only a slight malt flavor lingering. With out the oxidation this would be the perfect hot summers night lager.

May 26, 2009 Draft at the brewery. Filtered clear amber yellow colored body. Sweaty apple/dried hops/crisp cracker nose. Clean nose and clean flavor/body. Somewhat syrupy. Fresh, without any glaring defects. Crisp red apples and semi-sweet corn. Refreshing.

Oct 3, 2009 draft at the brewpub - Pours hazy gold with a lasting white head. It smells of bready malt and some mild hops. This light to medium bodied brew has a pleasant enough balance between the pale malt and the hops. It’s light to medium bodied and a decent quaff.

Mar 23, 2008 Light copper color......nice white head. Fresh, slightly sweet aroma. Very sweet taste in the front......smooth, yet dry mouthfeel. Finishes clean, with a slight malt sweetness.
