Smells of honey, oranges, caramel. Tastes of honey, some tarte hints. Sweet finish. Some appley hints as the beer warms. Decent. aplusbreaks (330), , Colorado, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 29, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden with virtually no head, even with an aggressive pour. Aromas of corn, yeast, sweet malt, and I guess there is some honey, pretty hard to pick up on it though. Flavors are sweet malt with honey, again not very much though. Palate is surprisingly better than the rest of the beer, medium to full bodied. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Clear headless and lifeless golden yellow swill. Aroma of honey, sweet malt and corn. Taste of stale corn and honey, astringent. Lifeless swill indeed. theisti (1684), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 14, 2008 12 oz bottle generously given to me by Dansting. Pour is cloudy golden and light orange. Full two inch white head that falls fast. Aroma of cloves, grass, hay, honey, wheat and some faint citrus. Taste is full bodied wheatiness with slight honey sweetness and a nice yeast spiciness. This tasted much more of a Hefe to me than a wheat ale. Regardless, nice drinkable beer. Thanks Dan. agillespie81 (203), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Mar 25, 2008 Golden......hazy. Thin white head. Faintly sweet aroma. Sweet malt flavor in the front......crisp, yet not overpowering mouthfeel. Finishes clean with a subtle honey aftertaste. Beaver (598), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 21, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy dark gold with a thin head that quickly diminishes to a thin collar.
The aroma is very subdued - sweet honey and some malts.
The flavor is wheaty malts and some sweet honey with a strange vegetal almost plasticy finish. The mouthfeel is medium and watery with low carbonation.
Overall, a rather bland beer. The more I drank of it, the less I liked it. kitschy (209), Nebraska, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 22, 2007 in bottle. yellowish beer with no head, no matter how far away from the glass you hold the bottle to pour. A honey beer, yes, but also a wheat beer. The flavor grew on me, but this is no champion honey beer - it’s an american wheat with some honey thrown in. Hops are low, perhaps to be sure we taste the honey.
