Commercial Description:
Our honey wheat beer contains 120lbs of honey per batch. As with the raspberry this is a lighter beer and also one of our most popular. The honey gives the beer a slight sweetness and also raises the alcohol content because the yeast ferments some of the honey. We use traditional hallertau hops in producing this unfiltered wheat ale.

(Bottle) Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma of biscuits, wheat and even some light fruit. Taste is pretty good, with a sweet wheat character. Good palate, with a creamy mouthfeel and slightly below average carbonation. A pretty good beer.

In the bottle from Total Beverage. Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with almost no head to speak of. Something of a doughy aroma with just a slight suggestion of an infection. Has only a mild honey taste, so don’t think you’re getting Berrinjaeger here. The only nice part to this beer is that it finishes with a clear blast of wheat flavor.

Bottle, pours a yellow-gold with white foamy head, very bubbly carbonation. Aroma is sweet biscuit. Body is on the light side. Mouthfeel is a little slick and fizzy. Initially a somewhat sweet wheat flavor hits the palate, and then quickly disappears with a watery finish. Seems a little bland for a wheat beer.

Aroma is a spicy floral scent with sweet honey tones. Color is a hazy yellow with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is light and dry. Starting with light body it goes down watery. Finish is a mild sweet flavor with hints of honey and wheat, this is back by a faint bitterness and a mild hop spicy taste. Its a nice beer but is a bit watery

Got this one bottled, thanks Slothgar! Cloudy, opaque dark yellow pour with a foamy, rapidly dissipating white head, strawberry and sweet malty nose, very sweet strawberry and sweet malts throughout, strong finish. Pretty good.

Poured golden, not much head. Nose is sugary sweet. I don’t think I can accurately describe this beer, not much wheat. It was fruity sweet with some honey. Seemed to be under carbonated.

A 12 oz bottle with no best buy or freshness date to be found. The beer poured a semi-cloudy yellow with no head to speak of. The smell was... no smell at all, I hope I did not get a bad bottle. The taste is a weak honey and that is it. The carbonation is slightly high and no lacing at all.

Thanks Crazy. Cloudy yellow pour with a ring of creamy white. Aroma is very interesting. It’s not the straight up sugary honey I expected. Its kinda dull, but sweet and nostril filling. Makes me think of frosting. Its floral and the honey seems to thicken the body and mouthfeel. The wheat character is light, which is ok with me. A very interesting and tasty brew.
