Pours cloudy gold with an aroma of bubblegum and strawberry. Flavor is predominantly strawberry with only a hint of honey. Average mouthfeel. Crisp and fruity; I’ll have more. A nice easy to drink summer type honey beer. Has lots of flavor and a light bite at the end. This was nice but only when cold. This was light in color and a tad cloudy.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2006 12oz bottle. Somewhat transparent yet mildly sedimented. Dark golden leading to copper. Slight ring of white head. Nose is fruity and grainy. Think Frankenberries. Ever so slight honey aroma. Light bodied and smooth. Wheaty, but with that vanilla and strawberry note. Oily, sweet honey. This is super smooth. Finish is long and cloying. Floral clover honey. This is somewhat dulled , but still flavorful. Rounded and nice. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 25, 2006 Draught at the brewery. Beer was a murky, light brass color with a tiny, white, frothy, mostly diminishing head. The aroma was malty with light notes of toasted grain; Hoppy with a trace of resin/pine and herb; Yeasty with a trace of basement; Light miscellaneous note of honey. The flavor was moderately sweet, lightly acidic with an average-length, moderately dry, lightly hot, lightly bittersweet finish. The body was light, the texture was watery and the carbonation was lively. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 30, 2006 Poured from a 12 ounce bottle to a golden red color with a thin whit head that dissipated quickly. There was some lacing, but not much. Aroma at first was a sweet wheat, but as the beer warmed, it became more of a sour and stale smell. The taste was mildly wheat, but I could not detect any honey. The body was thin, which led to a sluightly watery finish. Was expecting more from this wheat beer, but I may have spoiled my palate, since I had finsihed a Franziskaner Dunkel Hefe shortly before this. MrEcted1 (144), Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 29, 2006 Very uneventful for a wheat beer. This beer pours the standard golden color you would expect from a wheat, but the head and lacing is quite lacking. Pretty light on the carbonation side, seems too uncarbonated for any style. Subtle wheat and very subtle honey flavors make this beer "blah". They probably did this so it would be very accessible to anyone in the mood for a brew, but as a beer lover it’s a very loose wheat beer with very little in terms of character.
