Commercial Description:
Our honey wheat beer contains 120lbs of honey per batch. As with the raspberry this is a lighter beer and also one of our most popular. The honey gives the beer a slight sweetness and also raises the alcohol content because the yeast ferments some of the honey. We use traditional hallertau hops in producing this unfiltered wheat ale.

on tap-pours a white head and gold color. Taste is a weak honey. Not much to this, but nothing offensive.

Bottle courtesy of aplusbreaks. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of honey, oranges, caramel. Tastes of honey, some tarte hints. Sweet finish. Some appley hints as the beer warms. Decent.

Hazy golden/peach color with a quickly diminishing white head. Sour strawberry wine aroma. Flavors of light fruit (raisins, mangos and apricots). Touch of mild dry honey. Too many cider qualities.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow, dense tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly yeasty (dough), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly malty (light bread). Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Obtained a fresher bottle at the brewery, but the aroma is still very faint, and it’s still fairly bland.

On tap at the brewpub 4/13/06: Golden and still with no head. Slippery feel. Musty sweet, but I only get the honey on the exhale. Not my style.
