Thanks to maniac for this one at the Richmond Gathering. Clear amber with great legs, liquor appearance. Huge apple aroma, just a concentrated shot of it that was wonderful. Flavor was much more complex, with raisins, apple, tawny port and caramel coming through. I really enjoyed this one, for me it was one of the highlights of the evening.

Bottle, 7%. Sweet apple aroma, also reminds me of liquorice powder... tyrkisk peber. Hazy amber colour. Brown powder sugar flavour. Quite sweet flavour, and not very appley. Good in small doses.

Bottle from Once Upon A Vine - South on 03/14/2009. Vintage 2007. My final style left on ratebeer. Very clear caramel body with no head and some light legs. Huge apple aroma, very much like apple juice with some faint caramel and vanilla. Big apple flavor with some Very sweet vanilla and faint caramel flavor. Full body with no carbonation and a very smooth silky finish.

Pours yellow/gold. Smells of fresh apple pie and spicy. Tastes sweet and dry with some underlying funkiness and a touch of honey on the finish.

2007 Big thanks to maniac for sharing this last needed style. Huge thick aroma, with a nice apple basis. Ruby body with minimal head if any. Thick body with a hint of honey and apple. Almost like a nice apple pie drink. Sweet ending with a hint of cinnamon.
