| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 9, 2009 This has less hops in the aroma than the Phoenix Red. The hops on this are there at the start but come on strong much later. Certainly a respectable IPA with a quite bitter finish. hayduke (1647), Eureka, California, USA

Poured a nice golden color with a white head and moderate lacing. Big nose of floral hops and touches of citrus Mouthfeel clean and easy to drink. Nice flavors worthy of an IPA and a nice long bitter finish. One of the better offerings from this brewery. DJMonarch (6845), Northwich, Cheshire, England

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 13, 2005 [At GABF 2004] A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is very light, what is there is primarily hoppy, but also with some grassy notes. The flavor is very hoppy, leading to a dry bitter end, with a smooth mouthfeel in the middle.
