Sep 9, 2009 This has less hops in the aroma than the Phoenix Red. The hops on this are there at the start but come on strong much later. Certainly a respectable IPA with a quite bitter finish.

Aug 25, 2007 I was very glad to see Etna bring this to the 2007 Hops in Humboldt. Poured a nice golden color with a white head and moderate lacing. Big nose of floral hops and touches of citrus Mouthfeel clean and easy to drink. Nice flavors worthy of an IPA and a nice long bitter finish. One of the better offerings from this brewery.

Golden coloured and very hoppy with fruit aroma. Crisp on the palate with a bitter finish.

Jun 13, 2005 [At GABF 2004] A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is very light, what is there is primarily hoppy, but also with some grassy notes. The flavor is very hoppy, leading to a dry bitter end, with a smooth mouthfeel in the middle.
