Aroma of yeast and banana, cloyingly sweet. Slight hazy yellow beer, small white head. Yeasty flavor, some sweetness, quite thin.

Bottled: Golden coloured. Unclear. Huge white head. Yeast, banana, citrus and wheat in the aroma. Flavour is a little more distinct. Yeast, banana, fruitsweetness and citrus in the flavour as well. Is fresh and smooth. I like this a lot.

Bottle at Plan B. Golden colour like a kristal Weisse with a big white head. Yeasty wheaty banana aroma and a sweet taste. Medium body and a light dry finish.

On tap. Nicht ganz den Himmel so nah. Strong notes of banana in the taste, some ash in the aftertaste. A bit weak.

Bottle. Sour lemon aroma primarily - slight hint of banana and malt. Medium yellow color - completely clear - like a Kristall. Weak grainy malt flavor with high carbonation - only the slightest hint of fruit. Not a very good Weizen.

Spicy, yeasty nose; cloudy khaki-orange color, sticky white head. Sharp wheat taste with a slight spicy end (some clove). Medium body. Reminds me of Flensburger Weizen.

Bottle from the Ettaler Monastery in Oberammergau, Germany. Poured a large white head, fair lacing, uncarbonated, cloudy, and a pale yellow hue. Malty, banana, clove, and spicy aroma and echoed in the flavor. A mostly tingly mouthfeel. Light bodied hefe and not near as good as some of the hefe’s I’ve rated.
