Bottle. Sweet banana/peach aroma. Cloudy light brown color with ample head. Sweet dark malt aroma balanced with the banana. Very good but tastes more like a regular Hefe than a dunkel.

Pretty dunkelweizen with a nice wheaty/yeasty aroma and fine hints of banana. As the beer warms it became maltier and more spicy. Nice stuff.

Bottled: Orange brown coloured. Dusty. Off white dense head. Banana, yeast and sweetness in the aroma. Flavour of banana, fruit, some spices and light yeast. Ends on sweet and ligth spiced note. Quite good one.

Light banana aroma. Hazy orange. Simple, but very drinkable. Touches of banana, and toffee in spades. Crisp carbonation, refreshing palate. Finish has fresh buddy hops, green and very tasty.

Bottle. White head on a copper coloured body, slightly hazy. Foam fastly disappear to form a good lace. Strong banana aroma, grainy (unusual aroma of flaked wheat). Taste is fruity (banana, raisin), grainy (muesli-like), chewing gum. Creamy, medium body, quite dry, pleasant.

Aroma has milk, caramel and a slight herbalness. Sweetish flavor with caramel, some yeasty bitterness and pear. Some licrice as the beer warmens up. Good beer, but not one of the best of its kind.

From a 500 ml. euro brown bottle with a bottling date on the back label. Poured a clear reddish, ruby hued brown with a foamy head that settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount of sticking. Aromas of toasted grain and chocolate malts, a bit fruity, some metallic notes, and lightly floral. Moderate carbonation and a malty crisp, velvety smooth medium bodied mouthfeel. Nice malty taste, caramelized malts with a touch of chocolate toffee, toasted grain, a sour bready yeastiness, a light raisin fruitiness, mild soft crispness from the hops and a dryish malty finish. A tasty dunkel from Ettaler, easy, smooth drinkability, well worth trying if you can find it fresh.

16.9 oz bottle into an English Pint glass. Pours a hazy amberish toned brown with a small dim white head. The aroma has a high malt sense to it mixed with somewhat of a fruity banana hint. The flavor has a nice and subtle banana start to it that fills the mouth. That progresses into a more yeasty and slightly spicey note towards the finish. Not complex at all, but definitely worth drinking.
