Cleat brown color with a thin white head. Aroma is woody and roasty. The flavor is roasty, with some bitterness with a good malt aftertaste. Medium body.

500ml brown bottle. Pours a surprisingly clear dark brown with a light white head. Medium-bodied, with a full mouthfeel. Sweet flavor balance with a slight hop bitterness and very nice dark malt flavor. Very clean and well-balanced. Nice.

Pours a nice ruby brown color with a nice off-white head. Aroma is toasty and caramelly with a light hop presence. The malt aroma is not a big as I thought it would be. Flavor is of the same toasty, caramel at first that gives way to a nice malty aftertaste that lingers for some time. Medium-low body. A very balanced beer. Very easy drinking and flavorful. I can’t get over the maltiness that lingers in the aftertaste. Wonderful. I would definitely buy this beer again!

(Bottle) Pours a burrgundy body with a moderate beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, straw, and dark fruits. Flavor of malt and vinous.

Light cola looking color with a small head. Aroma is sticky sweet maltiness with some caramel. Taste is dry and smokey with that mostly malt back. Medium bodied but lacking something, the right hops maybe? Nothing too special.

On the pour, it looks like cola and has a soda-like head. Lacing is better than expected. A little too thin on the palate for a darker beer. Sweet maltiness upfront that mellows into a Brazil nut roastiness. Fairly clean finish. In the end, about what I was expecting: no thrills, no frills but satisfying nonetheless.

The aroma started with a sweat light malty with just a hint of hops. The head was a good two inches, light brown with a good lacing. The body was a lear dark reddish brown. The initial taste was semi-sweet, turning roasted and nutty. A decent beer. 500 ml dated 10 10 05
