Bottle; poured a dark auburn color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, cocoa, fruit and yeast. Flavor was minerally for me, but ok overall. Alot of caramel and toasted malt; some earthiness and cocoa. Palate was ok. A touch of sweetness.

Draught. High creamy and long lasting off/white head. Clear dark brown body. Sweet roasted malt caramel nut aroma. Mild sweet caramel flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

Roasted oats and barley with hints of horehound on the nose, rather like kibble. Brown with a thin cream colored head. Tastes just as expected with the balance tipped even more toward the malty side. Simple, but tastes fine. Mouthfeel is somewhat watery.

Bottle, bought @ Ambrosetti, Berlin.
Pours deep red with a brown hue. Small, fizzy, off-white head. Aroma has rye bread, caramel, some slight roasted notes, light berries. Highish, prickly carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, some liqourice as the first experience. A touch of cumin, sweet caramel, roasted malts. Long, lingering, hoppy and lightly roasted aftertaste. Good, but perhaps just a slight tad too sweet.

Mug served at the Bavarian Lodge in Lisle, IL. Presented with a dark, mahogany hue, with a modest, off white head that reduced to a small ring and not much lacing. With a touch of Noble hops to start, the aroma was toasty and nutty, with some notes of chocolate and caramel. The flavor added to the aroma profile some malt sweetness and a slight hop bitterness. The carbonation was soft and the body seemed a little thin, but altogether, a good, drinkable, compliment a variety of foods, brew.

Had on tap at Oldsmar Tap House, Oldsmar, FL. Nice, dark brown pour. Huge frothy head. Very sweet caramel and brown sugar aroma. Flavor was awesome! Very lightly roasted malt, sweet brown sugar. Very nice. Very drinkable.
