| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 2, 2008 500ml brown bottle from The Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours a very very very light straw yellow with virtually no head. Smells husky. Tastes sweet, with biscuity malts playing a lead with just the slightest hint of continental hops... Not getting a lot from this one. Extremely drinkable and absolutely nothing offensive about it. A good drinker for a hot day for sure, and I may pick it up again in the coming months for that purpose. Otherwise, not a lot going on here... webjedi (249), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 9, 2008 Bland Helles, nothing exciting on the pour, and a thin white head. Very corn and wheat flavors, very little hop. As noted with other ratings, nothing offensive, but nothing exciting. A little sweet, and very "field-like" scents. (Bottle Pour 4/25/2008)
