50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Vague hoppy aroma. Flavour starts sweet and mild fruity. Soon goes into a more herb bitterness with a dry flavour. Simple bitter and dry finish. Crisp and clean.

500 ml. Clear golden with a small head that lasts as a small soapy ring. Aroma of dry grass and light honey. Flavor is honey, grass and slight chalky grain. Light-medium body is smoothish and dryish.

Thin white head. Orangey straw color. Aroma is but sweet and a little musty. Mouthfeel is watery. Malt is sweet and a little bready. Hops are a crisp high notes that seem almost metallic. It seems pretty typical of German hops. Overall unremarkable but not bac

500ml brown bottle from The Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours a very very very light straw yellow with virtually no head. Smells husky. Tastes sweet, with biscuity malts playing a lead with just the slightest hint of continental hops... Not getting a lot from this one. Extremely drinkable and absolutely nothing offensive about it. A good drinker for a hot day for sure, and I may pick it up again in the coming months for that purpose. Otherwise, not a lot going on here...

Bland Helles, nothing exciting on the pour, and a thin white head. Very corn and wheat flavors, very little hop. As noted with other ratings, nothing offensive, but nothing exciting. A little sweet, and very "field-like" scents. (Bottle Pour 4/25/2008)
