Eugene City Dubbel

On tap at the Eugene Rogue House. Pours a very dark cherry red with a thin fast falling white head. Very sweet dubbel with a lot of cherry fruitiness in the candy sweet start. Very big malts but dried out a lot in the finish, it kept it from being really thick and made it nice and drinkable. Nice spiciness in the finish, light cloviness.

Clear reddish brown appearance. Malty, earthy spice aroma. Sweet malty palate, mils caramel and candy sugar, some yeasty spice, slightly dry finish.
