Draft, came as Natty Imperial Red - listed at 8.5%. An unclear dark amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy lending it notes of grass. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

on tap-pours a tan head and cloudy brownish red color. Aroma is citrus hops, medium malt. Taste is citrus hops, medium malt-some sweet, alcohol. Kind of an American Strong Ale but a bit short. OK/mild carbonation.

This is a fine beer, very mild for the alc. %, and is on the cheap, $3.00 a pint at the Eugene City Brewery.

This was really tasty but comes across a little overwhelming at first. This is alot to handle in a beer. Rich, complex malt components, sweet and satisfying with tons of hops.

on tap at the eugene city brewey, alcohol aroma with hints of sweet, cherries, sweet flavor but alc. is there for sure, tart and distinct flavor, not your typical red, burly but candy like, dreadlocks up!

Pours a dark copper, very clear, with just a thin head. This brew smelled and tasted like alcohol the whole time, the malts seemed weak and the body was very light. The hops in the finish didn’t do much for me cause the alcohol just killed the whole flavor of this beer, just didn’t have the malt base and body that you would expect with that high of abv.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark amber color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is malt, dark fruity and toffee. A medium to full bodied “Imperial Amber”. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of caramel as well as fruit. Haps are grapefruity and citrusy. Fairly bitter beer, yet nicely balanced. Smooth taste. There is a touch of alcohol bite at 9.5%. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is bitter.
