50 cl bottle from Plonkers, Derby. Gold with a thin yellow head; stewed malt aroma; over-boiled, but fruity, malt flavour; touch of hops to the finish. Boring.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2008. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Sweetish fruity malty flavor with some hints of hops. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

Cask conditioned at The Bulls Head, Brecon, Powys. Brown gold with thin head. Dry, malty beer, brewed a little darker than the other Evan Evans on offer but still quite distinctively Welsh. Dry, short finish with some tannin and sweetness.

cask @ jdw, newington green. Perfectly amber w. creamy tan head. Faint aroma of hops, fruit and caramel. Vinous hints. Taste is watered down, but otherwise ok - treacle, hops and oranges. I know! It tasted like orange tang. Bleh! Salty fruit finish.

Cask conditoned - gravity dispense - Peterborough BF. An amber coloured beer. The aroma is malty with berry fruits. The taste is well balanced with everything in its place. If anything the malt dominates slightly, but this is a very drinkable beer with nothing outstanding or outlandish.

A little bitter, somewhat dark, good foam and last to settle, that is nice. A little buttery but still being good.

Half pint pulled at The Bulls Head in Brecon (Brecon Beacons NP, Wales), a slightly cloudy pale amber with a creamy white head. A sweetish aroma with a little plum there. A creamy and smooth mouthfeel with a bitter malty flavour and a lingering dry finish.
