Yellow pour with white head and lace. Light corn aroma. A medium maltiness with a nice hint of bitter. Nice body and carbonation. A very solid refreshing beer.

20070428 Tap at TAPNY. Was especially looking forward to a nice kolsch, but this was a letdown. Looks right in color but rather flat. Mild white bread and grain bag aromas. Grainy but mostly bland flavor except for a punch of diacetyl. Miss.

Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a clear pale yellow with a white head and nice lacing. Cereal grain aroma. The flavor was a mix of lemon citrus and cereal graininess. Malty finish with a light hop bitterness. Dry finish and light body.

ON tap at the Spotty Dog in Hudson, NY. Clear copper color with a clean taste. Malty with a little bite, plus an appley twinge in the aftertaste.

Totally clear, very pale blonde with greenish leanings. Small white head struggles to survive. Almost inexistent aroma, minimally hoppy and highly grainy. Short-tasting, dry palate except for a touch of grainy sweetness. Quite bland, yet a small bite of flowery hallertauer? Hops make the taste its most pleasant feature.
