ericnixon (711), Lenox, Massachusetts, USA Nov 15, 2007 On tap at the Spotty Dog in Hudson, NY. Black color with a burnt coffee bean aroma. Nice and smooth mouthfeel that had good consistency. The taste was sorta burnt which detracted from the beer. Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Slowly fading beige head covers the murky dark brown. Indeed woody and smoky nose stays consistent in mouth. The roast is soft, mild and covered by a constant whisper of caramel. Despite the following sweetness, it remains drinkable and balanced. Softest flowery hop touch. Nothing too complex, but a group of coherent flavours. Without a doubt one of my favourite of theirs. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Aug 23, 2006 on tap-pours a light brown head with brown color. Aroma is coffee. Taste is coffee/chocolate/oatmeal, malt. Not my taste. Glouglouburp (2006), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jul 20, 2006 Brown body without much head. Mapple syrop, roasted malt and liquorice flavours in the thinnest most watery porter body I have ever had. Evan’s Rowland’s Porter? I really don’t understand why two people would claim the ownership of this thing? GonZoBeeR (2019), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada Jul 19, 2006 Aroma:good coffe and rosted malt aroma...
Appearance:Dark brown,light head...
Flavor:Good rosted malt flavor,coffe..
