goldtwins (3721), Nesconset, New York, USA Dec 10, 2007 Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a clear copper color with a white head. Light fruity and toasty caramel aroma. The flavor had a nutty and toasty malt taste. Some earthy hops on the finish. Clean light body. Easy drinking. Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Lightly hazy amber coloured ale topped by a rather lacy, albeit small, white head. Directly grainy, not very toasty at all, malt-oriented and very soft-flavoured product. Lasting grainy finish in the rather empty ending. No trace of hops and exaggerated simplicity makes it rather dull drinking. (Rating #917) jcwattsrugger (3793), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Aug 23, 2006 on tap-pours a creamy white head with gold color. Aroma is sweet-caramel, malt. Taste initially is sweet malt. A flatness medium hops at middle and finish. Glouglouburp (1915), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jul 20, 2006 Clear blond body with no head. Slightly smoked nose. Watery body. Pale malt taste and the initial smoked nose turns into ashes flavour. More Light than Scottish that’s for sure.
