decaturstevo (1271), decatur, Tennessee, USA Sep 25, 2008 Yellow pour with tight white head and lace. Corrinader and ginger aroma. Tastes alot like it smells with a light bitter finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Very solid and refreshing. frankenkitty (1798), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jul 13, 2007 Murky golden under a head that does not keep. Aroma finds banana esters, charred wood, a hint of sulfur, oregano... acutally a lot of herbs rising off the top. Chalky, spicy, herbal, banana... no problems in the mouth. Looking below at the duelling two-point-nines, I’d say some progress has been made in a year’s time. This is quite a nice Hefe, er... um... I mean Witbier. (Actually, it’s a little too hearty for a Wit.) Regardless, I like.
Draught pint at Albany Pump Station, Albany, NY 12207 jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Aug 23, 2006 on tap-pours a white head with slightly hazy straw color and effervescence. Aroma is sweet, malt. Taste is wheat, musty, flatness from secondary hops. OK carbonation.
CamdenD (570), Madrid, Spain Jul 17, 2005 Palatable and drinkable witbier. Went down smooth with food, but I’ll defer to the experts for more precise analysis.
