Pours nearly black with a small head. Great aroma and taste of rich roasted coffee and chocolate. Smooth, soft mouthfeel. Very drinkable beer. cgarvieuk (2388), Edinburgh, Scotland May 2, 2007 Dark brown coloured brew, with a rich chocolate roast nose and a deep fruity rich roat flavour with a little tang and zip to ip. a little chocolyte , but the strength does tend to show through. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Mar 2, 2007 Cask conditioned @ Giddy Bridge (JDW), Soton. Liquorice and roast with malty toffee and berrys. Sweet up front but there is enough drying hoppiness to keep this drinkable. Tasty if just a touch too sweet and thick.
