| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 23, 2009 Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear brownish red color with a large head. Fair head retention and lacing. Lots of butter in the aroma along with faint tart fruits, light toast and caramel. Taste is nutty with faint grain and tart fruit notes. Thin bodied, slightly watery. Seems like this could be a bit infected. Either way, it’s just not a very good beer.
