| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 12, 2009 Draught. Estimated to be about 20 years old. To my amazement it actually did have a relatively high fluffy white head that was however quickly disappearing. The body was hazy and dark red brown. Aroma a bit weak but cherries were of course present whereas the normal hints of grapefruit or vinegar was very much subdued. Cherries on the forefront of the flavor but also some acidity remained although the many years of storage had made it quite subdued and the general impression was very pleasant. Low carbonation long aftertaste. Truly a good experience. faroeviking (6092), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

Good mouthfeel. The flavour is refreshing with cherries along with a pleasant mild sourness and some sweetness. 20 years old... I’m amazed. Anker (309), Hillerød, Denmark

Sweet and citric flavours over the back of the tongues, smooth and quite fresh impression. Dry and slight wooden cherry to marzipan finish. Grovlam (3810), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 12, 2009 Draught @ Ølbutikken, congratulation with the 4 year birthday. A vintage 1989, average beige creamy head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Muddy deep dark cherry red color. Aroma was fantastic with notes of both sour and sweet cherry. Also marzipan, citrus, mild vinegar in the nose. Over the palate came sweet cherry, marzipan and lots of fruit. Quite smooth but maybe a bit to sweet for a lambic over the palate. Medium bodied with a surprisingly sparkling carbonation and mild dry texture. Moderated sweet flavor with some counter acidic. Lingering sweet cherry finish with a sour twist at the very end. plovmand (1714), Helsinge, Denmark
