Maria (3813), Thisted, Denmark May 7, 2008 On tap at Fässla in Bamberg. Beautiful, red-brow with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel and light citrus. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt and caramel followed by a "quiet" phase before some long lasting grapefruit turns up. IMO at bit monotone and off balance.
Adenila (592), Denmark Jul 13, 2008 Bottle from Beerbikers Svoger, my evil stepdad.
Clear brown with medium white head. Aroma of mild sweetmalts some caramel and some mild toasted notes. Flavor is again sweet malty with some fruity notes and a grassy hob bitterness. imdownthepub (3937), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Jul 12, 2008 On tap at Fassla, Bamberg. Chestnut brown with white head. Another malt dominated, sweetish beer but this time with a darker roasted character. Fruity and smooth with hints of caramel. It’s ok. Mes_and_Sim (3927), London, Greater London, England Jul 8, 2008 A Mes rate: Gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival. Dirty brown colour with a thin off white head. Sweet and fruity with some tobacco. Diacetyl and caramel are rather too clear. Very sweet... erm... NEXT!
