Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 24, 2006 An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is very faintly malty. The flavor though is sweet malty with light notes of caramel combined with a hints of alcohol. Boring. I find both the appearance and the alcohol content of this beer closer to that of a bock than a dunkel. omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 4, 2002 Pale nut brown. Dry coffeeish. Flavourful and interesting, but on the thin side.
Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 21, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear amber golden with a small, white head. Light aroma of roasted malt. Rather solid body with distinct notes of roasted malt. Lightly alcoholic finish. Solid if not exactly thrilling German brew. Not really a Dunkel, but not a straight Bock either. 200606 joergen (6257), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 14, 2006 Bottle.
Clear amber coloured with an off white head.
Aroma of malts, grain and caramel.
Flavour of malts, caramel and hops. sk8viking (6078), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 14, 2006 Bottle. Amber colour with a small off-white head. Caramel malty, fruity, grassy aroma and a light sweet fruity, hay, straw taste. Medium body with a sweet light dry finish.
