Tasted side by side with Viking Jolabjor from Iceland. It’s a dark golden beer with a small, but firm head. The aroma is sweetish and malty with notes of Werthers Echte toffee. The flavour is sweet and smooth and surprisingly full-bodied with toffee notes and a slightly dry and bitter finish. It’s not very complex, but it’s harmonic, uncomplicated and charming - so the Faroe Islands won!

Bottle. Clear light to medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate yeasty, toffee, notes of butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (231207)

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange to amber. Has a huge white head. Slight spice aroma with note of malt. Flavour is sweet with light breadish notes and some light spice notes. Quite pleasant mix/balance. Finish holds more malt and some alcohol presence.

Bottle. High fluffy but lasting off-white head. Clear light amber body. Sweet caramel and buruned barley malt aroma. Light and a bit thin for a Christmas beer. Caramel and hops bitterness in an OK mix, bittersweet without much carbonation and with a short aftertaste. I do not know why but it feels kind of artificial.

Golden brown and clear. Has a white head, mostly dimishing. Sweet aroma. Flavor is heavy sweet too. Medium duration. Syrup texture.
