Comments: Lightly nutty, unfocused porter with a certain sweet rooty character, but ultimately thin.
yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 18, 2007 Bottle. Thx Papsoe. Clear, mahogany body with an off-white head. Weak nose with coffee and burnt malt. Too weak and sweet I think. The same goes for the flavor, where there’s a little maltyness as well. Medium body and a coffee-ish finish with some malt and grains. Somewhat pleasant, but not as a porter. (070510) gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 15, 2007 Bottle. (THX to Papsoe) Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, malt, hop. Flavour is caramel, hop, fruit, malt. Ordinary beer. Papsoe (10517), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 14, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Clear, reddish brown with a beige head. Somewhat caramelish aroma. Medium body, a whiff of caramel and a dry finish with a very subdued bitterness. Not exactly a grand beer. 100507 Maria (4439), Thisted, Denmark Feb 9, 2007 This so called porter is brown/black with a modest head. The aroma is sourish and malty. The flavour has notes of roasted malt and weak notes of licorice. It’s a very thin-bodied beer.
