Commercial Description:
Næsta Sct. Brigid ølin í 120 ára føðingardagshaldinum hjá Föroya Bjór. Sct.

(on bottle) knowing a bit to the faroese, i knew this was gonna be an UK-styled IPA. Very small hoppy nose and a tad metallic, yet grassy finish. To huge problems comes in when the carbonation is at the hight of some macro premium lager; totally wrecks all retained flavours and spoils the beer. Too bad.

Sampled at EBF08. Pale golden. Brief white head. Pretty sourish with a dry, cereal Bitterness.

EBF2008. It’s golden and the aroma has notes of malt and dusty hay. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw and a little grapefruit, that doesn’t give any actual bitterness, more an edgy, unbalanced and slightly dry try – not good.

Bottled@EBF2008. Golden colour, no head. Aroma is fruity, mild wooden and also has some slight notes of grass in it. Flavour is the same along with saltwater. Watery and not that pleasant.

Bottle at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Clear yellow amber with a variety of hop aromas on the nose. Dry but not enough hoppiness in the mouth and the palate is rather weak.
